How Great Leaders Inspire Action Through Powerful Messages
You know how frustrating it is to come up with a really powerful marketing message?
I mean the kind of message that people instantly resonate with… that makes them hungry for what you do…
…that’s powerful and cool… I mean really cool – like “Apple cool”?
Well, good news. Simon Sinek has figured it out! According to his book “Start With Why” the secret lies in starting in a center of the “Golden Circle”.
Watch his TED Talk and discover a simple but powerful model for inspirational leadership and crafting messages that start with answering the “WHY” and move people to action.
Oh, and do chime in with your comments and aha’s on how to craft marketing messages that inspire! Seriously… I want to hear from you. ;)
Seems like “Why” is very powerful tool and make people move to action, very interesting speech.
This is extremely helpful information Michelle. Thank you, I am posting this circle on my wall in my office.
I help people who want to tutor online and have a passion to teach, discover true success through personally showing them how to do it through my Tutorpreneur Program.
Thank you for sharing the Simon Sinek video. I have two versions of this talk, one being the Ted Talk, that I listen to over and over. It helps me stay clear on why I’m doing what I am and helps me stay on course because while it’s slow going getting my program up and running, I absolutely believe in my dream and I’m never giving up because the why is important and when successful, will have an enormous impact in the world.
Why has me completely resonating with you “I am never giving up” part of your commentary.
The “why” seems to drive our Unique Ability. Once we open ourselves up to knowing our Unique Ability and then allowing ourselves to follow the path of taking action with our Unique Ability, then our “why” will fuel us easily. It’s just another marketing message if we lack the self-esteem to lead (and not very compelling). However, if we lead with our purpose/gift, then our marketing message becomes highly compelling. I had seen this video 2 years ago, but now it resonates so much deeper. Thanks for bringing attention to this again!
Thanks for sharing this video! It really touched and motivated me. I watched it yesterday and again this morning. I utilized the day meditating and journalling, while evaluating my business and my “why’s.” I had some powerful “Aha” moments.
